We are currently looking for an Customer Service/Technical Support Representative, with experience, ideally, in motor repair and motor product support.

Summary: This position assists customers with their electric motor solutions for repair and new products. The team player will work closely with our outside sales team and shop personnel to address and resolve our customer's electric motor needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Interface promptly on phone, e-mail, and in-house with customers, shop personnel, and outside sales
  • Work with the shipping department to schedule pick up and deliveries
  • Generate quotations to customers with CRM software
  • Interface with customers and process approved and non-approved jobs paperwork to be delivered to the shop for production
  • Answer overflow customer service calls 
  • Assist parts department to locate suppliers of special parts for customers
  • Enter required repair data into production software and keep track of "Works in Progress"
  • Ability to create a purchase order for new products
  • Rotation as weekend production manager
  • Confirm and quote customer requirements on new motors, VFD's controls, gearing, pumps, etc.....
  • Prepare repair report on completed jobs when requested by customer
  • Complete job summaries to turn into accounting once job is delivered
  • Flexible to help work the front counter as needed

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A positive "Can Do" attitude is a must
  • Maintains a high-level of customer service at all times.
  • Proficient with Microsoft office and internet tools
  • Must be an independent self starter, as well as a team player
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Industrial or manufacturing experience in a similar industry preferred
